Exam Day Requirements

What to Bring (In-Person):

• Two forms of valid, government-issued ID
• One must contain your name AND photograph
• Driver's license, passport, military ID accepted

• Compatible computer with reliable internet

Testing Rules:

Note: Due to Alaska's geography, fingerprinting is ONLY available at the Anchorage testing center. If testing at other locations or online, you must make a separate trip to Anchorage for fingerprinting.

Qualifications

To obtain an Alaska insurance license, you must:

• Pass the licensing examination with 70% or higher

• Submit completed application through NIPR
• Pay applicable fees
• Have no disqualifying criminal history
